AI has infiltrated the personnel selection process, gamifying it

Modern hiring has been reduced to a cold calculation. Candidate Tracking Systems (ATS) force job seekers to compress their lives into algorithmic keywords, automatically filtering out care contexts, irregular paths, and complex human histories.

This initiative investigates and maps the invasive role of AI and Automated Tracking Systems (ATS) in candidate selection. The Italian campaign, named Risorse Veramente Umane, actively collects anonymous testimonials from employees and rejected applicants to reverse the power dynamic, injecting controlled noise and coordinated applications into the automated recruitment pipelines.

Our long-term strategy is to construct a Europe-wide front of digital self-defense against algorithmic exploitation, though for the moment, our practical trials and initial focus groups are active in Milan and Rome.
